1. Able to hold the GTAA accountable in the use of runway 33-l for only those periods when wind/sleet/snow/rain conditions are such that a safety concern is in play.
2. Initiated an annual GTAA Forum to outline their operations in Mississauga.
3.Stopped the High Density residential development of the Maclennan Lands and we now have the Prestige Toronto Dominion Bank Development Campus in lieu of a potential slum.
4.Persuaded Toronto Dominion to convey lands abutting the Etobicoke Creek to the City and incorporated same into the Parks inventory.
5.Advanced the resurfacing of all road right of ways in Rockwood from the 25 year time zone to 2002.
6. Initiated a tree planting on Parks land adjacent to the Etobicoke Creek ,residents and members planted 600 trees and shrubs.
7.Undertook numerous Parks/Creek garbage removal programs,with Community involvement,some 20 tons of debris removed from Etobicoke Creek last outing.
8. Had a huge Picnic in Garnetwood Park to mark our 25 years as a Community.
9. Had Mississauga agree to establish the Lorrie Mitoff cycle trail commencing in the Garnetwood Park and winding through Rockwood.
10. Arm wrestled Mississauga into constructing 3 Pedestrian structures over the Etobicoke Creek,located at Sismet Rd.,Rathburn Rd.Burnhamthorpe Rd.
11. Implemented a continuation of a pathway in the Etobicoke Creek from Burnhamthorpe Rd. to Eglinton and ultimately to the Brampton limits.
12. In itiated 2 Bank Stabilization Contracts to protect residents from losing their rear yards to creek erosion,at Palisades and # 2120 Rathburn Rd.
12. Held All Candidate meetings to bring the Candidates seeking election into a venue where residents may question same.
13.Increased Police protection in Rockwood with a view of eliminating crime/vandalism/racing which has resulted in 4 fatalities in Rockwood.Deaths occurred on Burnhanthorpe Rd at Garnetwood,Burnhamthorpe Rd at Ponytrail and on Eastgate Parkway at Fieldgate.
14. Initiated a 5 meter wide combination walkway and cycle path on north side of Bunhamthorpe Rd from Garnetwood Park to Dixie Rd.,this way eventually continued westerly to Hurontario in this style.
15.Initialed the Full review of the Density reasoning of # 1315 Bough Beeches
16.Prepared the Rockwood Newsletter to inform our residents of local matters 2-4 times annually.
17.Held contest to obtain a Logo and slogan for Rockwood
18.Held essay contest to determine what various age groups think about our Community.
19. Meet with Peel Medical Officer to initiate a specific plan to protect Rockwood during the West Nile crisis.
20.Ultimately succeeded in convincing Mississauga to include Rockwood into the curb side leaf vacuuming program after some 6 years of trying
